CANDLE GUIDANCE:
1. For the initial lighting, allow the candle wax to melt across the surface for approximately 2-4 hours to prevent tunneling, which will prolong the candle's life.
2. Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each relighting to minimize mushrooming and ensure an even burn.
3. Use a snuffer to extinguish candles; blowing them out is not safe.
4. After extinguishing the flame, remove any debris from the wax pool.
5. Avoid burning the candle all the way down; leave at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch of wax at the bottom.
6. Remain close to any lit candle and never leave it unattended.
7. Place all candles away from anything flammable.
